DevOps Engineer

Job Description: Performs as an individual contributor of the middleware team that builds and supports customer-facing applications with challenging business use cases, existing systems, and operational problems. Experience working on various middleware application servers and containers, from monolithic to modern versions. Applies middleware infrastructure automation code with attention to scalability, security, and performance, from conception to delivery and production support, including capacity specifications, quality, release deployments, and monitoring of production health. Has experience with Shell/Perl/Python scripting languages to implement changes in pipelines. Maintains technical documentation, README files, and status pages of projects, along with release team handovers. Collaborates with Engineering leadership, Product Managers, Designers, Test Automation, and other teams to define, prioritize, and scope middleware related to business and functional areas. Accurately scopes effort, identifies risks, and communicates effectively with team members and stakeholders. Implements infrastructure and application performance monitoring, capacity management, alerting, tools instrumentation, and KPI management. Performs impact assessments of product upgrades, patching, migration, and hotfixes. Assists in planning, coordinating, and executing projects across various environments including regression, performance, production, and post-production. Supports and collaborates with other engineers during evaluation, design analysis, and development phases. Familiar with common issues causing build/deployment failures, such as out of memory, disk full, missing libraries, or security certificates. Proven experience in troubleshooting critical production and non-production applications end-to-end, providing comprehensive root cause analysis. #J-18808-Ljbffr
