Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: New York, NY
Type: Contract | ~13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM | 34.5–37.5 Hours/Week
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Ultrasound Technologist for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures following departmental protocols
• Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment for diagnostic imaging
• Perform quality imaging and ensure patient safety during procedures
• Maintain, clean, and perform minor adjustments to ultrasound equipment
• Ensure adequate supply levels for imaging procedures
• Capture and transfer images to PACS and physician workstations
• Assist radiologists and clinical staff as needed
• Schedule exams, answer calls, and coordinate patient transport when required
• Support orientation and mentoring of new staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and workflow compliance

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent education required
• ARRT certification required
• ARDMS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years ultrasound technologist experience
• Prostate sonography experience required
• VU ultrasound system experience required
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and PACS systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and clinical decision-making ability
• English fluency required
