Our client is seeking a new team member to join their small firm, preparing corporate, individual, nonprofit, and estate tax returns in a timely manner while meeting all compliance guidelines.Responsibilities:Lead all tax accounting functions during tax season, including preparing individual, corporate, fiduciary, partnership, and other personal/business related tax returns.Support the firm and clients with other accounting as needed outside of tax specific efforts such as journal entry preparations, management reports, as well as other financial analyses and reports that may be required by management. This list is not exhaustive and will be discussed in the interview process.Communicate with clients effectively and maintain a long-term professional relationshipAssist in the mentorship and supervision of junior members in the organization as needed.Consult with high net worth clients to provide a tax plan that is best fit for each client.Prepare monthly billing statements and monitor budgetsCan identify new business opportunities for the firm and connect where applicable to share how the firm could be a resource and bring on new clients.Applying the knowledge obtained through professional experience to be a contributor within the organization and aid in continued growth.Complete work assignments given, including preparing individual and business tax returns.Professionally manage client relationshipsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's DegreeCurrent Enrolled Agent License or currently working to obtain CPA5+ years' accounting experience3+ years of public accounting experience at a regional/national CPA firmKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks Accounting SoftwareAbility to communicate effectively & professionally during conference calls/zooms
