Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ growth and development in an educational setting. This full-time role runs from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, working 35 hours per week with learners from kindergarten through age 26. As an onsite occupational therapist, you will collaborate closely with school staff to design and implement evidence-based interventions that help students achieve their academic and functional goals.

Ideal candidates will bring a strong background in school-based occupational therapy and a passion for fostering student independence and well-being.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Michigan occupational therapy (OT) license (please include a screenshot of licensure with application; license details can be verified at the provided state site).
• Prior experience working within a school setting is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency at providing OT services for K–age 26 populations.
• COTAs are not eligible for this position.
• Committed to ONSITE service delivery throughout the duration of the assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans to address each student’s unique needs.
• Provide direct OT services, consultation, and support for students, teachers, and families.
• Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and documentation compliant with all state and federal regulations.
• Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Adapt interventions to support students’ academic and functional performance.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that empowers all students.
