Cnc machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to manufacture precision components for engineered products at a growing manufacturer in Greenback, TN. In this Direct Hire role, you will operate CNC milling and turning equipment, execute setups, and maintain tight tolerances in a safety-first, continuous improvement environment which operates on a 4 day work week schedule!

The Role

Machine Operation: Run and monitor CNC mills and lathes with minimal supervision.

Setups & Changeovers: Prepare machines and load tools/fixtures to maintain production flow.

Quality Control: Perform in-process inspections and document measurements to ensure conformance.

Maintenance & Organization: Complete preventive maintenance tasks and follow 5S standards for a clean, efficient workspace.

Manual Work: Use manual machines and bench tools to modify parts as needed.

Qualifications

• Required: 2+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Preferred: Technical degree, apprenticeship, or certification.
• Preferred: CNC programming experience, specifically with Mazak Mazatrol.

Compensation & Schedule Pay: $24 - $28 or more per hour, depending on experience. Monday - Wednesday: 4:30pm - 5:00am.

Thursday: 4:30pm - 8:30pm.
