Position Details

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

• School-Year Position

• Follows the Midlakes Central School District Calendar

• Enjoy school holidays, recesses, and breaks off

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field required

• Must be willing to pursue New York State Early Childhood Teaching Certification if not already certified

• Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills

• Passion for creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

What You'll Do

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate UPK curriculum aligned with New York State standards

• Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment

• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development

• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

• Assess student progress and maintain required documentation

• Collaborate with staff to ensure every child has the opportunity to succeed
