In a typical week, you will be present in four different rooms. You design and execute the regional event calendar—gatherings that range from 150-person open houses to eight-seat curated dinners, several times each month. You identify and prepare current parents who are eager to speak with prospective families, then facilitate those family-to-family connections. You cultivate ties with civic leaders and corporate executives, converting those relationships into event venues, allies for campus expansions, and tangible opportunities for students. And you deliver the Alpha Networks promise: introductions, expert-led masterclasses, internships, alumni integration—tracked and fulfilled family by family. There is no complete playbook waiting for you. You will build it as you execute, and the frameworks you create will be adopted by colleagues running parallel efforts in other markets. As your region expands, the performance bar rises rather than drops: doors opened per family must increase even as total enrollment grows. Success is measured by the proportion of new families who arrive through genuine personal endorsements, tracked over years rather than quarters. No specific degree or institutional background is required. An MBA, a career in consulting or wealth management, or a track record built through community work, hospitality, or institutional advancement all carry equal weight. What matters is your demonstrated ability to convene people and convert those relationships into measurable outcomes. This position is based on-site in one of the following regions: San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Denver, Greenwich, Miami, Atlanta, Boston, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Dorado, Nashville, or Park City. The role involves evening and weekend engagements with high-expectation parents, elected officials, and entrepreneurs, along with consistent local travel. What You Will Be Doing Creating and executing the regional event calendar: open events, curated dinners segmented by city and grade level, and family retreats—multiple events monthly, within budget Identifying and securing venues, hosts, and vendors, then serving as the live host for each event Identifying and training current parents to serve as ambassadors, arming them with authentic narratives, and pairing them with prospective families and campus tours Establishing connections with government officials and corporate leaders, and converting those into event venues, support for new campus launches, and opportunities for students Facilitating enrollment of families into parent circles and placement of students into mentorships, masterclasses, and professional internships; welcoming graduating families into the alumni network within 30 days Recording every event, introduction, and first-contact source in the CRM to ensure \"doors opened per family\" is an accurate, verifiable metric What You Won’t Be Doing Purchasing growth. Basic Requirements 5+ years building communities or relationship-driven programs in K-12 education, membership organizations, or comparable network businesses where growth originated from people: referrals, members, congregations, chapters, alumni, or client portfolios, with quantifiable results Personal experience designing and executing 20+ events spanning the full spectrum, from intimate curated dinners to open events with 100+ attendees, including budget responsibility Established and sustained relationships with government officials or corporate executives that delivered concrete, identifiable outcomes Disciplined CRM practitioner; tracking relationships, attributions, and actions is already standard practice for you Currently resides in, or willing to relocate to, one of these regions: San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Denver, Greenwich (CT), Miami, Atlanta, Boston, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Dorado (PR), Nashville, or Park City (UT) Authorized to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship Nice-to-have Requirements Led regional growth, community, or partnership functions for a network-based organization: a school network, membership club, franchise system, or civic or faith-based institution Developed and monetized a high-trust portfolio of relationships as a client-facing principal in wealth management, consulting, or business development Advanced through admissions, institutional advancement, community organizing, or hospitality, and were consistently selected to host and represent the organization Pre-existing relationships with local government or the business community in your target city Deep understanding of how families evaluate and make high-stakes education decisions About Alpha Join the team building school around student growth Alpha reimagines the school day around faster learning, stronger mentorship, and more time for students to build real-world skills.
