Vice President of Operations

Summary:  H. Betti Industries is seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented   Vice President of Operations   to lead and optimize a complex, multi-site operational environment supporting five distinct business units. Distribution of location-based amusement and gaming equipment requires sophisticated coordination across warehousing, logistics, on site installation, in-house refurbishment and technical service teams.

This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, scalability, and consistency across a network of warehouses, technical teams, and branch locations. The VP of Operations will be a hands-on leader, serve as a key member of the Leadership Team, contributing to overall company strategy while bringing structure, accountability, and data-driven decision-making to all aspects of operations, including the adoption and optimization of systems and processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee operations across all warehouse locations, ensuring alignment, efficiency, and standardized processes.
• Travel regularly to branch locations to assess performance, reinforce standards, and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead end-to-end operations including coordination of delivery, installation, and setup of games, oversight of refurbishment and technical preparation of equipment, management of warehouse inventory and distribution supporting field operations.
• Ensure high service levels, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee all warehouse teams, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety in receiving, storage, and fulfillment.
• Manage an internal transportation function coordinating with third-party logistic (3PL) provider.
• Optimize routing, delivery timelines, and cost structure across all logistics operations.
• Lead technical teams responsible for refurbishment, repair, and preparation of equipment.
• Oversee ongoing technical service and after-hours support for customers.
• Ensure proper staffing models, escalation protocols, and service-level performance standards.
• Quickly develop working expertise in the warehouse Inventory Management System and IBM AS/400 ERP platform to ensure effective operational oversight.
• Drive adoption, standardization, and optimization of system usage across all warehouse and operational functions to multiple newly developed process portals.
• Leverage system capabilities to enhance KPI tracking, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process changes to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Establish and monitor KPIs across warehousing, logistics, service, and technical functions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, cost reduction and customer service levels.
• Implement standardized operating procedures and accountability frameworks across all locations.
• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams across warehouse, logistics, and technical functions.
• Establish clear reporting structures and performance expectations.
• Foster a culture of accountability, urgency, and operational excellence.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 10–15+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, including multi-site responsibility preferably within a highly regulated industry.
• Proven success managing warehouse operations, logistics, and field service teams.
• Experience operating within or quickly learning WMS and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams. (warehouse, technical, logistics)
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to U.S. branch locations.
