Senior Accounting Associate

Compensation: $100,000 - $110,000 + Bonus Our client, a well-established and growing real estate development company, is seeking a Senior Accounting Associate to join their team. Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis. Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting. Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts. Track fixed assets and depreciation schedules. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Support annual audits and tax preparation activities. Partner with operational teams to provide financial insights and support business objectives. Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies. Identify opportunities to enhance processes, improve efficiencies, and strengthen internal controls. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or Master's degree preferred. 5+ years of accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience working with ERP systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Self-starter with a desire to learn, grow, and advance professionally.
