Overview Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant. The Medical Assistant / CMA functions as a member of the patient care team, contributing to the health management of the patient. This is a full-time role. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care and clinical support within an outpatient clinic. Obtain vital signs, reconcile medications, and collect patient history. Assist with patient registration, transfers, and discharge processes in line with established policies and procedures where applicable. Support both front and back office operations, including scheduling and handling phone communications as needed. Assist with phlebotomy and basic clinical tasks as trained. Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification; or pursuing CMA certification as required by the role. Experience in outpatient clinical settings preferred. Strong communication, patient-care, and teamwork abilities. Compensation & Schedule Full-time positions are described with varied compensation depending on site, e.g., $43,000.00 yearly or $18.00 hourly.
