About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Surg Tech in Aurora, Colorado, 80012!

Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist in Aurora, CO. You will function as a member of a cardiac operative team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during cardiac and vascular procedures. You will prepare the OR, sterilize and organize instruments and equipment, and provide direct procedural support to ensure patient safety and efficient case flow.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year current acute care CVOR technologist hospital experience.
• DORA credentialing as required by the facility.
• Demonstrated proficiency in open heart cases.
• Experience with GE and Stryker OR equipment preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior Meditech experience.
• Prior experience working as a traveling CVOR technologist or in large trauma centers.
• Cardiovascular surgical experience including CABG, TAVR, valve replacements, and AAA procedures.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00 - 17:00.
• Teams: Day teams typically staffed as two RNs and one CST tech.
• Patient ratio: typically 1:1 for CVOR cases.
• Must be able to float within 25 miles of the facility when needed.
• Call requirements vary and will be discussed during interview.
• No weekends required.
