PRN Medical Assistant - Occupational Health Full-time Shift: Day Shift (Monday - Friday, as needed) Status: PRN Location: 1100 East Michigan Ave., Grayling, MI Responsibilities: Complete clinical and administrative tasks within the clinic. First point of patient care: room and prepare patients according to clinic checklists and procedures. Measure vital signs including weight, height, oxygen saturation, respiration, temperature, pulse (manual and automatic), blood pressure (manual and automatic), and other required patient care measurements. Complete required patient care documentation including medical histories and referral requests. Assist with day‑to‑day operations as required for optimal patient care, including helping teammates and providers. Qualifications: CREDENTIALED MEDICAL ASSISTANT High school graduate or GED equivalent preferred. Credentialed as a Medical Assistant from an approved Munson Healthcare Credentialing Organization. BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained. NON-CREDENTIALED MEDICAL ASSISTANT High school graduate or GED equivalent preferred. One year of relevant experience in a physician practice or similar healthcare setting, or graduate of a Medical Assistant Program approved by Munson Healthcare. BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained. Munson Healthcare requires all employees to be vaccinated or have lab‑confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella.
