Registered Nurse - NICU

Position Overview: Provides leadership in delivering professional nursing care within a neonatal intensive care unit. Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to care for patients, delegate tasks, and educate families. Implements medically prescribed interventions to ensure patient well-being. Qualifications: Requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, current RN licensure in North Carolina, BLS certification, and at least one year of NICU experience. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Nursing and national certification in the specialty. Must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certifications within 30 days of employment. Key Skills & Responsibilities: Leadership in patient care, clinical assessment, care planning, and execution. Supervises and documents patient care and teaching. Supports a team-oriented environment in a fast-paced NICU setting.
