Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)

Adana Veterinary Clinic is a well-established, modern small-animal and small furry exotic practice with over 21 years in the community. At Adana, we believe our LVTs are the backbone of the hospital and central to everything we do. We are looking for a skilled, compassionate technician who wants to grow, contribute, and be part of a collaborative team.

What You'll Do

• Assist veterinarians in exam rooms, obtain patient history, safely restraint animals during exams and treatments
• Perform blood draws, catheter placement, and anesthetic monitoring with attention to patient comfort
• Run in-house lab tests and prepare medications
• Assist in surgery, dentistry, and advanced diagnostics
• Provide client education on treatment plans, medication administration, and home care
• Maintain accurate medical records and contribute to efficient daily clinic operations

What We're Looking For

• NY LVT license (or eligible)
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
• Strong technical skills across species
• Computer savvy and comfortable with electronic medical records
• Excellent communication skills and ability to educate pet owners clearly
• A passion and commitment to high quality patient care

Compensation & Benefits

• $22–$26/hr. (DOE)
