SOUTH LOADER

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting both dry storage and/or refrigerated warehouse operations. This role may include managing inventory, receiving and storing raw materials, and loading/unloading finished products in a cooler environment. Responsibilities vary based on business needs and may involve working in dry storage, cold storage, or both. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in varying temperatures while following all GMP and SOP guidelines.Responsibilities and Duties:Communicate with front office staff regarding incoming loads and material needsReceive, verify, and accurately record all incoming and outgoing materials and productsLoad and unload trailers, including inspecting trailers and verifying temperatures when requiredMaintain accurate inventory through counts, cycle counts, and proper documentationFollow First In, First Out (FIFO) procedures to ensure proper product rotationOperate scanners and ERP systems (e.g., NAVISION) for product tracking and bin movementsComplete daily paperwork for inventory, loading, and unloading activitiesMaintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and cooler environmentsOperate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficientlyMonitor equipment and report maintenance needs promptlyFollow all company GMP, SOP, and safety requirementsRequirements and Skills:Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsSafety-conscious with the ability to follow all safety protocolsAbility to operate or become certified on forklifts and pallet jacksBasic math skills and ability to read and follow instructionsAbility to work independently and adapt to changing prioritiesTeam-oriented with good communication skillsPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods (up to 10+ hours per shift)Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularlyComfortable working in varying environments, including dry warehouse conditions and refrigerated areas (40°F and belowBenefits and Perks:Matching 401(k) planHealth, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO), Paid Sick Leave, and Paid HolidaysBirthday Day OffAbout Hickmans Family Farms:Since 1944, Hickmans Family Farms has been committed to quality and community as the leading provider of fresh eggs in the Southwest.
