Machine Operator III - Cheraw 1 - Day 12 Hour Shift

Location: Cheraw, SC, US 29520 Job Requisition ID: 44815 Your Key Responsibilities Prepare machines for the production program by tooling and parametrization according to work order information Check production status within and in between each production sequence and take action in case of deviations Perform operations while controlling machine/production processes and follow documented procedures and processes Inspect manufactured parts, identify defects and discard defective parts and follow proper protocol Support maintenance in the repair, prevention of downtime and inspection of machines Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times Your Qualifications Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent Required: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communication in English Required: Ability to operate complex machinery in a manufacturing environment Required: Ability to lift medium‑heavy objects if required Required: Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship Preferred: Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment Preferred: Experience working with power tools Preferred: Ability to read and interpret blueprints Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $21.20 – $23.85 per hour 2nd and 3rd shift premium available Medical, dental and vision insurance Life insurance and 401(k) eligible with up to 6% company match Schaeffler is an equal employment opportunity / affirmative action employer.
