Procedures which require conscious sedation. Rapid response and code blue team. Special Procedures/Unit Details : Prisoner population - must be comfortable with inmates.Unit also cares for Stepdown level acuity patients. Ratio for Stepdown patients is 1:3. Tend to be lower acuity of patients compared to 250 bed hospitals and above. Must have experience assisting with bedside procedures.Security guards are expected to have patient in site when nurse enters room. Can request security enter room if needed.Average census is 5-6. Floating is expected in these areas ER (tasks only or sitter), Med-Surg Floors (no more than 4 patients), Post Partum (Will take the lesser acuity. Only expected to perform normal scope of practice, Post Partum nurse to care for the specialized tasks/assessments of patient as needed based on nurses experience). CPI or can obtain online classes MAB. CPI can be taken at our facility within 30 days. Special Equipment : - #Tier3 Travel Compliance Submission Requirements Must submit using the Qualivis Submission Form, including rate, start date, shift, and all RTO. Any RTO not included at time of submission will not be approved. Valid TN state license or compact multi-state license required at time of submission. Current Nursys report required; license must be active. No pending licenses accepted. All certifications must be included in the submission packet; some roles may allow pending certifications if they can be obtained prior to start (will be advised in JD). Compliance Deadlines HealthStream approvals are due 12 days prior to start. All other compliance requirements are due the Wednesday prior to start. Failure to meet compliance deadlines may result in delay to the next orientation or cancellation. Labs must be completed within 72 hours of signing.
