We are seeking a passionate and experienced Activities Director to lead our Recreation Department and create meaningful experiences that enhance the quality of life for our residents. • Bachelor's Degree or certification program completion required

• Must possess an active ADC (Activity Director Certified), CDP (Certified Dementia Practitioner), or CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) credential

• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Knowledge of state and federal regulations, resident rights, and quality assurance programs

• Experience developing and implementing person-centered programming

• Computer proficiency and documentation experience required

As the Activities Director , you will be responsible for planning, developing, and overseeing engaging recreational programs that promote physical, emotional, cognitive, and social well-being.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervising Recreation Department personnel

• Developing, implementing, and evaluating resident-centered activity programs

• Creating monthly activity calendars and resident newsletters

• Designing specialized programs for residents with dementia and other cognitive impairments

• Maintaining compliance with documentation requirements and care planning processes

• Participating in interdisciplinary care team meetings

• Monitoring departmental quality assurance initiatives

• Managing department budgets and resources effectively

• Planning and coordinating resident, family, and community events

• Creating and implementing facility-wide employee engagement and event calendars

• Ensuring all programming aligns with resident interests, abilities, and goals
