Critical Care Float Pool RN
Join our Critical Care Float Pool for weekend night shifts with flexibility to meet unit needs as they arise. Nurses will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity. Floating requirements include working within units of equivalent or lower acuity. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Proficiency with the EPIC charting system is required. Candidates must have skills in IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management. The position requires managing critical care patients and following through with appropriate interventions. Ideal candidates will be adept at handling a fast-paced environment and communicating effectively with interdisciplinary teams. This is a critical care role involving various ICUs, including medical, surgical, and cardiology units. Candidates will have the opportunity to work alongside a variety of support services to ensure comprehensive patient care. The expected patient ratio for shifts will be in alignment with critical care standards. Weekend night coverage is a requirement, with a minimum of every other weekend expected.
