HOST/HOSTESS

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Welcomes and greets all guests

·        Walks guests to tables, engaging in conversation along the way

·        Communicate with the Maître’D any open tables, long waits or guest issues

·        Full understanding of company information, including but not limited to hours of operations, directions, awareness of neighborhood and company properties

·        Master operations of the Open Table system

·        Complete all opening and closing side-work as assigned

·        Open all wine and champagne bottles using proper wine service techniques

·        Ensure accuracy of guest checks and promptly process payments

·        Interact in courteous and professional manner with guests, supervisors, and co-workers

·        Complete running side-work throughout the shift as assigned

·        Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all service areas
