Position Summary The ideal candidate will focus in overseeing theday to dayoperations of the bakery and willbe responsible forboosting sales and customer service. Must have proven experience in team supervision and working in a busy environment. Qualifications Experience in a customer focused work environment isrequired 2+ years of Kitchen & Food service and hospitality experience is preferred High school diploma or equivalent isrequired Experience working in a busy environment High energy and engaging personality Professional demeanor Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time (8+ hours a day) Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work well in a busy environment Ability to lead, motivate, and build efficient teams High energy and engaging personality Professional demeanor Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time (8+ hours a day) Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays (according to customer demand) Responsibilities Make sure customersreceive exceptional customer service at all times Make sure our baked goods are baked and decorated according to Carlo’s Bakery product standards Ensure operations arein accordance withfood safety and sanitation standards Oversee opening and closing procedures and processes (opening/closing shifts) Ensure team members greet,assist, provide efficient service and thank guests in a prompt, courteous,friendlyand business-like mannerin order topromote the company image as a service-oriented operation Supervise,trainand develop team membersin accordance withcompany policies and procedures Evaluate storefront conditions and operations todeterminestrengths and areas for improvement Ensure company standards for safety, proper food handling practices,sanitationand productivity are maintained Take lead and guide staff on product questions andoffer assistancein finding or suggesting product selection to customers Why Join Carlo’s Bakery?
