Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience as a paraprofessional in school settings preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and school personnel
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to enhance student success
- Adaptability in supporting various student needs across grade levels
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in classroom activities and manage daily routines
- Support individual or small groups of students with assignments and learning objectives
- Implement accommodations and modifications for students as directed
- Foster a positive, supportive, and respectful classroom environment
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to instructional staff
- Encourage student engagement, participation, and independence
