You develop detailed specifications, schematics, and capacity forecasts; select hardware/software; implement firewalls, switches, routers, and security relevant devices; and conduct rigorous testing. You apply DoW RMF/CSRMC/STIG compliance, produce required IA documentation, and harden all devices. You combine deep knowledge of networking, OSI/TCP‑IP fundamentals, and DoW security standards to solve complex problems, communicate clearly with diverse audiences, and mentor junior engineers. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
