Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the patient's history and create personalized treatment plans.

• Develop and execute evidence-based treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, resilience-building, and fostering emotional well-being.

• Utilize specialized therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively address and process trauma.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to explore their trauma and develop coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated care and optimal patient outcomes.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients feel safe and secure.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources, empowering them on their recovery journeys.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines to ensure the integrity of patient records.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a collaborative approach to trauma-informed care.

• Stay current with the latest research and innovative practices in trauma therapy to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including but not limited to survivors of abuse, violence, or major life-altering events. Your work will empower patients to reclaim their narratives and facilitate their healing processes using individualized treatment approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to engage in trauma-focused therapies and treatment modalities.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.
\n
• Ability to maintain professionalism in high-stress situations while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and the use of common computer applications to manage patient information.
\n
• Strong collaborative skills to effectively work within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on trauma therapy.

• Experience in delivering evidence-based trauma interventions

• Additional certifications in trauma-focused therapies are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The competitive salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
