Controller - VP

DescriptionKforce's client, a fast-growing, NJ-based tech firm is seeking a VP Controller. Summary: In this demanding and rewarding role, you will report to the CFO and work closely with a talented team of CPA's and accounting professionals. The position offers unlimited professional challenges and a very competitive compensation package which includes equity. A hybrid work schedule is available.Requirements* CPA * 12+ years of progressive accounting experience (combo of public and private accounting experience highly preferred) * Experienced with Financial Reporting and SEC Compliance including preparation of detailed financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures in compliance with SEC, FASB, and PCAOB regulations, as well as handling Form 10-K and 10-Q filings and XBRL issues * Deep working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and key principles of application for a wide array of finance and accounting areas * Superior technical accounting knowledge and exposure is essential in areas including but not limited to: ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 805 and complex scenarios including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and M&A accounting * Strong Internal Controls and Compliance exposure is required; Able to design and maintain internal controls over financial reporting * Expertise in ERP and General Ledger systems (SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft preferred), with proficiency in reconciliation software and SEC reporting tools like Wdesk are preferredJob TypeDirect HireCompensation225000 - $275000
