Overview The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care across all age groups using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Maintain practice standards and coordinate care activities. Demonstrate professional growth and accountability. Qualifications Graduate from a nursing program (bachelor’s preferred). No experience required for new graduates. At least 1 year of hospital experience for PRN roles. Valid RN licensure in Georgia and BCLS certification are mandatory. Certifications Additional certifications are required based on specialty areas, such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, or specialized certifications like chemotherapy/biotherapy or dialysis.
