School NurseHours: 7:30-2:30Salary: $46,382 (Bachelor's Degree) $48,592 (Master's Degree) Salary negotiable based on experiencePosition OverviewDepew Union Free School District is seeking a compassionate, organized, and student-centered School Nurse to support the physical and emotional well-being of our students. The School Nurse will provide direct healthcare services, promote health education, and collaborate with staff and families to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first aid and emergency care to students and staffAdminister medications and manage chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, allergies)Develop and maintain Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs)Monitor and maintain immunization and health records in compliance with state regulationsConduct health screenings (vision, hearing, etc.)Serve as a liaison between families, healthcare providers, and school staffPromote health education and wellness initiativesEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal health guidelinesQualificationsCurrent NYS Registered Nurse (RN) licenseBLS Provider CertificationPrevious pediatric, community health, or school nursing experience preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyExperience with diabetes, asthma, and allergy treatments preferredPreferred SkillsExperience managing student health data systemsKnowledge of public health guidelines and immunization requirementsExperience working in a school settingApplication: Please submit an online application on or before June 25, 2026 -3:00 pm at Materials to be submitted online include: resume, RN license and proof of BLS provider certification, and 3 letters of recommendation.
