Job Summary: Interventional Radiology (IR) Falls Church, Virginia. The interventional radiology role supports the performance of procedures in a lab setting and requires strong clinical skills, including the ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and maintain patient readiness. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days (7:30 AM6:00 PM), 10 shift hours; minimum 40 hours per week.
- Weekend/On-Call: Weekend coverage includes call rotation with core staff (1-hour response time). Weekend expectations include 1 weekend of call per month, along with 12 shifts per week and 1 weekend per month. Holiday expectations include 1 major and 1 minor.
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); clinical competence to pass an electrocardiogram (ECG) exam and read and interpret strips and lethal rhythms; proficiency with intravenous (IV) therapy; critical care experience; Neuro Interventional Radiology (Neuro IR) experience; ability to complete orientation requirements and use Epic (Epic access needed: Yes).
- Preferred Qualifications: None provided.
- Additional Information: All cases are completed in the lab. Unit orientation is 1 week. Maroon scrubs are provided. EPIC is used.
