Job Title: Dietary Aide evenings
Job Summary:

Envive Healthcare of Indianapolis is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our evening shift team. As a key member of our dietary department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by preparing meals, serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare meals, snacks, and beverages following specific procedures and protocols

  • Serve meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times

  • Take inventory of kitchen supplies and food items, staying up-to-date on individual facility procedures and protocols

  • Assist with setting up and taking down dining areas, and perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks

  • Assist with educational programs on nutrition and provide support to residents and family members

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Patience and compassion when working with residents and family members

  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members, and team members

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions for meal orders, nutritional needs, and recipes

  • Physical stamina to assist in food preparation and serving meals, as well as helping residents with eating and cleaning up after meals
