Overview Put Your Purpose to Work at Presbyterian Homes and Services!! Kirkland Crossings located in Pewaukee, WI is seeking a full‑time Cook/Chef to join its Nutrition and Culinary team. This critical role is a full‑time position, 64.0 hours per payroll, with 8.0 hour shifts from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm (with some flexibility). It is an early‑riser schedule that allows you to open the kitchen for the day prior to breakfast prep. The position will include occasional weekends and scheduled holidays (with holiday premium). Salary: Up to $21.57+/hour BOE Biannual increases based on experience and market trends. Responsibilities The Cook is responsible for creating high‑quality meals and a dining experience for residents by preparing and serving attractive, nutritious, and palatable dishes consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures, and best practices. Qualifications Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent education. Knowledge of State and Federal food‑handling regulations, including food service operations, is strongly desired. Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies. Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate with all residents, staff, and families.
