Outside Material Handler

Fluoropolymer Resources LLC (FRL) is currently seeking a dedicated results driven Outside Material Handler, in our North Windham, CT Facility. FRL is the global leader in reprocessing of melted processable fluoropolymers, as well as the distribution of virgin fluoropolymer resin. We are a dynamic and flexible company on an aggressive growth trajectory, offering products and services to multiple industries in global markets as we continue to innovate and invest in production capability and people.

Position Summary:

The Material Handler will be responsible for the picking and the moving of the material. This position reports to the Production Manager and will have growth opportunities for a dedicated and results driven individual.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Able to work outside at all times regardless of the elements; able to lift 50-pound bags regularly as part of normal job responsibilities.

Communicate regularly with Operations Manager, Production Superintendent, and Material Handler Lead and is able to change priorities in a timely manner as needed.

Condense boxes, bags and drums of material to maximize space. Reports new location of LP in the ERP system. Consolidate and repack boxes and pallets of material as needed.

Keep areas in and around pallets clean and organized at all times.

Work in a safe and efficient manner.

Fork Truck training is mandatory to operate Fork Lifts and Picking equipment.

Comply with safety rules and regulations on an everyday basis.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Previous material handling experience is desired.

At least 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing plant is ideal.
