Job Title: Director of Diagnostic Imaging

Location: Atlantis, FL

Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time

Schedule: Days | No Weekends

Position Summary

The Director of Diagnostic Imaging is responsible for the overall operation, leadership, and strategic direction of the Medical Imaging Department. This role oversees departmental performance, staffing, quality initiatives, regulatory compliance, patient throughput, and operational excellence while ensuring exceptional patient care and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily operations of the Diagnostic Imaging Department.

• Manage leaders and supervisors across multiple imaging modalities.
\n
• Ensure efficient patient flow, staffing, scheduling, and resource utilization.
\n
• Develop and maintain departmental policies, procedures, and quality standards.
\n
• Oversee equipment maintenance programs, quality control initiatives, and operational compliance.
\n
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, federal, state, and regulatory requirements.
\n
• Monitor departmental performance metrics and implement process improvements.
\n
• Collaborate with physicians, hospital leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and operational effectiveness.

• Lead staff development, engagement, coaching, and performance management activities.
\n
• Maintain departmental readiness for accreditation surveys and regulatory inspections.
\n

Required Qualifications

\n
• ARRT Certification required
\n
• BLS Certification required
\n
• Associate's Degree preferred
\n
• 3-5+ years of Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging management experience
\n
• Experience managing multiple imaging modalities
\n
• Strong operational, regulatory, quality, and financial management skills
\n
• Fingerprint background clearance required
\n
