Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who values consistent, year-round work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and enjoys solving problems for customers.

You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems while delivering a high level of customer service. This role also offers the opportunity to increase earnings through performance-based incentives—without excessive overtime or weekend work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, maintain, and test plumbing systems including water, drainage, gas, and heating systems
• Diagnose plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, and system failures, and perform necessary repairs
• Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, water heaters, and related equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections and fixtures
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and proper function
• Complete work orders, estimate materials, and maintain accurate records of labor and materials
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory
• Ensure job sites are clean, safe, and meet quality standards upon completion
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
• Respond to service calls and occasional emergency situations as needed
• Stay current with plumbing codes, safety regulations, and best practices
• Assist in training and mentoring apprentices and junior plumbers

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time position with a steady workload
• Minimal weekend and after-hours work

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Plumber license
• Proven experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
• Physical ability to perform plumbing work in various environments
