Work you'll do Ensure user visible uptime and quality, providing operational and development expertise in making our systems fail rarely, and fast to fix when they do failMinimize manual involvement by imagining & implementing continuous improvements that create an operating environment, including the development of new tools, dynamically monitoring, alerting, & automated self-healing & recoveryIdentify and/or analyze problems relating to mission critical services and implement automation to prevent problem recurrence, with the goal of automating response to all non-exceptional service conditions.Engage in application performance analysis and system tuning, and capacity planningPerform root cause analysis to identify & implement continuous improvementsPresent analyses and recommendations to leadership, and discuss technical merits of solutions with engineers and architects. Qualifications Experience with technical deep dives into Azure infrastructure, databases, and applications in operating, and supporting high-performance, highly available services and infrastructureDeep understanding of Azure computing technologies across Windows, with hands-on experience on the following domains: Container technologies, including Kubernetes and DockerExperience in building, deploying and monitoring Azure services with strong IaaS and PaaS services (Redis Cache, Service Bus, Event Hub, Cloud Service etc.)Azure Core Platform: Compute, Storage, NetworkingData Platform: SQL, Azure DB, Mongo AtlasFamiliarity with AI Ops and AI tools such as Claude, CopilotIdentity and Authentication: SSO/Federation, AD/Azure AD etc.Experience with Azure Storage, Backup and Express RouteExperience in managing Windows systems in Azure Public CloudHands-on experience in ARM templatesKnowledge of networking and software defined networking in cloud environmentsAbility to write PowerShell scripts to automate IT OperationsAzure DevOps DeploymentsExperience developing integration tests, and gate criteria that align with business requirements & project plan using Microsoft standardsStrong experience with instrumentation, monitoring, alerting, and responding relative to performance and availability of application Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
