Application Developer

Sr Application DeveloperIn this role, you will develop and maintain APIs for multiple lines of business within an efficient Agile software development life cycle and act as an advocate for the API Management platform. You will work cross-functionally with Architects, Engineers, Business Analysts, and Service Managers across multiple teams. The goal of this position is to accelerate customer adoption and increase engagement with the API Management Platform.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain APIs for multiple lines of business.Act as an advocate for the API Management platform.Work cross-functionally with Architects, Engineers, Business Analysts, and Service Managers.Partner with and enable business application developers to evangelize the use of Service-Oriented Architecture best practices.Focus on scalability, maintainability, and reuse in development.Learn complex business domains and manage competing priorities.Required QualificationsEducation: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in programming, analysis, design, development implementation, quality assurance, and applications support is required.Technical Skills: Practical experience and knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture, Microservices, and API Gateways are necessary. Experience with at least one of the following technologies is required: 3Scale, Mulesoft, Apigee Edge, CA Technologies, Tibco Mashery, Axway, or IBM Gateway.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with the Financial Industry is preferred.Work EnvironmentWork hours are a standard 40-hour week with a required primary on-call rotation every four weeks.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
