As an Armed Security Officer supporting a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $33.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 05:30 PMTue08:00 AM - 05:30 PMWed08:00 AM - 05:30 PMThur08:00 AM - 05:30 PM 21+ Years of Age (C101) Security Experience - +1 Years (C115) Concealed Carry Weapons Permit (C121) What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, maintaining awareness of visitors, employees, and contractors. Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in a timely and accurate manner. Minimum Requirements: Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit. Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Baton certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
