Responsibilities Responsibilities are role dependent and may include: Conduct comprehensive assessments and treatment plans tailored to each client's needs. Provide high quality, compassionate and ethical counseling to clients individually to meet treatment goals. Refer clients to other support services including detoxification, intensive programming, psychiatric services, social services programs, and employment services as needed. Maintain detailed and confidential client records in accordance with organizational standards and legal requirements. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical supervision sessions. Stay updated on current research and best practices in mental health and addiction treatment. Assess and manage risk on an ongoing basis and adjust level of care and recommendations as needed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize effectively and work independently. Knowledge of risk issues and verbal de-escalation abilities, as well as consultation options.
