Clinical Dietitian

Clinical DietitianThe Clinical Dietitian I provides overall nutrition care to patients and is considered an entry-level role. Assures that the nutritional needs of the individual patients are being met and that all documentation as it relates to the patient's nutritional status is complete and accurate. Plans and administers activities related to resident/patient nutrition care, complying with the standards established by Aramark Healthcare, regulatory agencies, and clients. Establishes and maintains effective multidisciplinary relationships to provide a unified approach to patient care.Job Responsibilities:Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needsProvide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changesCollaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition careMonitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as neededStay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutritionQualifications:Bachelor's or master's degree in nutrition or a related fieldRegistered Dietitian (RD) certificationAt least one year of clinical experience preferredLicensed Dietitian status in ArkansasStrong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively and effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teamsPassion for improving patient outcomes through high-quality nutrition care
