Job Summary:
The healthcare provider is seeking a qualified Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Candidates must have prior ICU experience and be able to bring their license on the first day. The position involves providing comprehensive patient care in a 12-bed ICU unit, including ventilator management, titratable drips, patient hygiene, and other critical nursing duties. The assignment begins on June 15, 2026, and is expected to last for 13 weeks.

Job Details:

• Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
• Shift: Days, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; 2+ years ICU experience; BLS (Basic Life Support); ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred; experience with vents, titratable drips, mixing medications, patient hygiene, ER and Med Surg experience required; must be registered with the state of New Mexico for fingerprinting
• Experience with vents, titratable drips, mixing medications, patient hygiene is preferred
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS; TNCC preferred
• Schedule: Days, 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, 12 hours per shift, at least 36 hours per week
• Float: Float rotation may be required, with a float log maintained in the ICU and overrides possible based on experience and staffing needs
• Additional Information: No call required; blocked scheduling may be accommodated if included in the submission; holidays required; EMR system used is MedHost; scrub color can be any; fingerprinting for all travelers in New Mexico is mandatory, and agencies must be registered with the state
