Our full-time employees also have access to medical, dental, vision, and other insurance options.A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WAREHOUSE LEADThis position is responsible for receiving, picking, packing, and shipping products, as well as maintaining inventory accuracy and a safe, organized warehouse. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPartner with the Warehouse Supervisor to establish and maintain operational procedures for warehouse activitiesSupport the Warehouse Supervisor with day-to-day warehouse activities, including cycle counting, receiving, picking, and shippingMonitor inventory levels and oversee the handling and disposition of materialsInspect the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment, and prepare work orders for repairs or requisitions for equipment replacement as neededAssist in directing the salvage of damaged or unusable materialConfer with the Warehouse Supervisor, Branch Manager, and other departments to ensure coordination of warehouse activitiesParticipate in planning for warehouse personnel safetyHelp develop the team by identifying employee training needs and providing clear instruction to ensure procedures are followedDocument disciplinary actions when necessary**WORK SCHEDULE - PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING** This position works a set schedule of Saturday through Tuesday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM. This is a first shift opening, and the schedule is fixed to meet consistent customer service needs — there is no flexibility to adjust these days or hours. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to inside ambient temperatures. Noise level may be high when operating powered industrial equipment.
