Lube Technician/Fueler (Marshall Steam Station) Sherrills Ford, North Carolina 28673 This is a full‑time position at the Duke Energy Marshall Steam Station in Sherrills Ford, NC. Schedule Full time (40+ hours / week) Day shift Job Summary Greasing and fueling equipment. Essential Functions Daily Inspection of equipment for safe operation. Check tire pressure and add air as needed. Complete maintenance tasks according to manufacturer schedule and in conformance with all maintenance and environmental policies. Report issues to the Site Supervisor. May perform other duties as assigned by Site Supervisor. Job Requirements and Qualifications Experience Prior experience servicing heavy trucks/equipment/ automotive preferred. Other information Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., work in all types of weather, walk, and stand for extended periods of time Must be physically able to perform the work outside in hot and/ or cold weather conditions. Must be able to work in a construction environment. Must be able to walk slopes and uneven terrain. Must have a valid driver’s license. Be at least 18 years of age.
