Privacy/Cybersecurity Associate Attorney

A respected regional law firm is looking for a mid-level Privacy/Cybersecurity Associate Attorney to their team. This role will work on advising clients on privacy, cybersecurity, data governance, and emerging technology matters. This hybrid role can be based in Grand Rapids or Detroit-area offices and offers a salary range of $150,000-$180,000 depending on class year . Experience should include 3-5 +/- years of: Advising clients on privacy and cybersecurity compliance programs, including state, federal, and global regulatory requirements. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating data privacy, technology, vendor, licensing, and commercial agreements. Preparing privacy policies, data governance documentation, cybersecurity guidance, and client-facing compliance materials. Conducting legal research and provide practical counsel on privacy, cybersecurity, technology, and mobility-related issues.
