Kane Distributing currently has an opening for a Warehouse Associate for our Distribution Department.

The Warehouse Associate ensures best-in-class customer experience by routing orders efficiently, loading product accurately and ensuring deliveries are made effectively.  The hours for this position are 5am – 1pm and will report directly to the Distribution Manager. 

This is a physically demanding job that requires moving packaged beer (kegs, sixtels, cases of cans) up and down stairs to the proper delivery location.

Key Responsibilities:

Routing & Planning

• Using our software system, optimize daily delivery routes to maximize efficiency, balance workloads and reduce driving times across territories
• Sequence stops based on delivery windows and customer needs to ensure performance on time
• Generate load sheets, pick lists, manifests and COD alerts

Warehouse & Loading

• Stage product to align with route plans and delivery priorities
• Load vehicles with a focus on product integrity, safety and ease of execution at each stop
• Prepare and organize inventory to support incoming transfers
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment

Delivery & Support

• Serve as a backup driver focused on professionalism, efficiency and care of product quality and freshness
• Execute up to 10 stops daily in a Sprinter Van when needed (busy days, holidays, coverage gaps)
• Act as a feedback loop from the field, identifying challenges and opportunities to improve.

Requirements:

• Clean driving record
• Experience with distribution and logistics preferred
• Previous warehouse experience
• Basic computer skills
• Flexible schedule
• Interest in craft beer

All candidates must successfully complete a background check and driver’s license check.

This position is full-time, on-site at our Ocean Township, NJ brewery location.
