QA Engineer

Job Title

Location: Mason, OH/ Woodland Hills, CA Work Mode: Onsite

Responsibilities

• Understand and articulate business and technical problems addressed by the product/AUT
• Break down complex requirements into clear, testable scenarios
• Define testing strategy, master test plan, and overall test schedule
• Drive testing across Component, Integration, UAT, and Production phases
• Set the direction and tone for quality delivery across multiple teams
• Identify test data needs and create mock/synthetic test data as required

Requirements

• Proficiency in at least one automation tool such as Selenium, Cucumber, IBM RFT, etc.
• Strong knowledge of automation frameworks (Data-Driven, Hybrid, Page Object Model)
• Hands-on scripting experience using Python or Core Java
• Experience in Vibe coding
• Working knowledge of Python libraries like Pandas and NumPy
• Experience in Agile/Scrum, test & defect lifecycle, and test management tools
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and perform under pressure
• A team player and effective communicator
• Transparent, self-driven, and quality-focused
• Comfortable leading testing strategy across large programs
• Strong Elevance Health System knowledge including: EDP, Member, Benefits, WGS, ISG, Spider, WPD, Accum ODS
