Job Description Summary Class A CDL Driver As a Class A CDL driver, you will deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools and supplies to and from customer work sites. This role involves driving a Class A truck hauling equipment on a flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailer in various conditions, including urban, suburban, and rural settings. The ability to drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones is required. Key Responsibilities Deliver and recover equipment, tools, and supplies to and from work sites. Operate Class A trucks with flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailers. Maintain safe driving practices in construction zone environments. Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment and vehicle at job sites. Provide excellent customer service. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred). Valid driver’s license with Class A CDL and acceptable driver’s record. Prior training or experience with commercial equipment such as flatbeds, RGN/lowboy, or dovetail trailers. Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and perform bending, squatting, crouching, and reaching. Related Experience Long Haul Driver, Heavy Haul Driver, Lowboy Driver, Equipment Driver, Equipment Operator, Owner-Operator, Delivery Driver. Physical Demand The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as needed. Starting rate of pay may vary based on location, education, training, and experience.
