High School Chemistry Teacher

Position Overview Deliver engaging Chemistry instruction that encourages students to ask questions, think critically, and apply scientific concepts to real-world situations. Plan and facilitate lessons, activities, and assessments that make complex Chemistry topics accessible to diverse learners. Foster a structured and inclusive classroom where students are encouraged to participate, collaborate, and take ownership of their learning. Work proactively with fellow educators and school staff to support student achievement and contribute to a positive school community. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required Valid New York StateTeaching Certification (Preferred) Non-certified candidates must have at least 12 college credits in the relevant subject area and provide transcripts demonstrating subject-matter expertise. 1–2 years of experience teaching Chemistry or a related subject to middle or high school students; experience in an urban school setting preferred Why Join Cross Country Education?
