Details Emergency Room (ER) department in a hospital setting Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Weekend and holiday rotation required 13-week contract Requirements Active Illinois (IL) RN license required Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; education verification will be required for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care using the nursing process Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute individualized patient care plans Administers medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, standards of care, and state practice acts Participates in department performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance and peer review Applies critical thinking to patient safety and experience, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command American Traveler Job ID P-726065.
