Position Overview

The Sales Support Specialist provides operational and technical support to the sales team to accelerate revenue, improve customer experience, and ensure accurate delivery of product solutions. This role combines customer-facing communication and internal coordination with technical skills (including AutoCAD and BIM) to assist with quotes, proposals, drawings, order processing, and project follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

• Support sales team by preparing and issuing accurate quotes, proposals, and sales documentation in a timely manner.
• Produce and modify technical drawings and layout details using AutoCAD and BIM tools to support proposals and customer requests.
• Work closely with engineering, product and production teams to verify feasibility, lead times, costs, and specification compliance.
• Maintain and update CRM records (e.g., leads, opportunities, orders) and generate regular sales activity and pipeline reports.
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email or portal; provide product information, status updates, and resolve routine issues.
• Coordinate order processing, purchase orders, delivery schedules, tracking and invoicing with internal teams and external partners.
• Support product demonstrations and customer meetings by preparing materials, drawings and technical annotations.
• Create and maintain standardized templates, catalogs and pricing tools to improve proposal accuracy and speed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation and data quality enhancements to reduce errors and shorten sales cycles.
• Participate in training and knowledge-sharing to ensure sales team is up to date on product features, BIM content and CAD resources.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of sales support, inside sales, technical sales or similar experience (building products, construction or industrial preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
