Exciting Night Shift RN Opportunity!

Job Description:


- Unique Winter Coverage: Join us for a rewarding role specifically tailored for the winter season, from 11/2 to 2/27.
- Shift Details:
- Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
- Required to work 2 of the 3 major upcoming holidays
- Every other weekend commitment
- Qualifications Required:
- Must possess a current CA RN license
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH
- BSN preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Experience with EPIC systems desired
- Patient Care Responsibilities:
- Manage diverse patient populations: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
- Expected to handle a patient ratio of 4:1
- Ability to float as needed within the hospital
- Skills & Expertise Needed:
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
- Proficiency in central line care, continuous IV sedation, and IV vasopressors
- Knowledge in BiPAP/CPAP management and arterial blood gas interpretation
- Familiarity with emergency department environments
- Team Collaboration:
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, and Rapid Response Teams.
- Orientation:
- 16 hours of initial orientation to ensure you are fully prepared for your role.
- Additional Information:
- Guaranteed hours per contract
- Must complete background policy and submit required documentation
