Customer Service Representative (CSR- Full Time)

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) with genuine passion for healing and a gentle touch. The applicant should be a team-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting. We provide full benefits including PTO, Sick hours, Medical, Vision, Dental, and 401K. Benefits are outlined in the employee manual and are separate from the hourly wage.

Essential Functions:

• Greet clients and patients in a friendly, professional, and compassionate manner.
• Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and manage hospital communication efficiently.
• Accurately enter and update client and patient information in the computer system.
• Provide clear communication regarding services, estimates, treatment plans, and discharge instructions as directed by medical staff.
• Process payments, maintain accurate financial records, and handle invoicing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and lobby.
• Coordinate patient flow and assist in ensuring timely service for appointments and emergencies.
• Communicate effectively with veterinary staff to support patient care and client needs.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative tasks.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are essential to fulfill the requirements of this position.
• Work collaboratively with all team members and ensure actions support the hospital, doctors, and practice philosophy.

Physical Effort:

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• May require bending, reaching, and light lifting (assistance available for heavier tasks).
• Ability to use a computer, phone system, and other office equipment for prolonged periods.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of experience in the veterinary field.
• Flexible schedule.
• Familiarity with IDEXX Neo preferred, though not required.
